Women’s Group Sponsorship: $600 per year

By sponsoring a women’s group, you open doors for an entire community.

Educate the Children helps women to improve their own lives, claim a space in the public sphere, and create positive change in their communities. Women’s groups are the heart of social change. Through monthly meetings and a variety of relevant training opportunities, members form close bonds that strengthen as they gain skills and confidence. Over time, groups merge to form legally recognized and long-lasting cooperatives that take on the work of ongoing social and economic development. These activities and organizations, led by local women, fuel community-wide economic growth and well-being long after Educate the Children has phased out of the area and begun to do the same work in a new area.

If you aren’t able to give $600 per year on your own, consider getting together with your friends, family members, or fellow congregation/civic group members to share a sponsorship! (If you choose to do this, please have one person collect and send in the funds!)
