From the “nice things our donors say” files – one kind friend wrote on our Great Nonprofits profile, “They don’t come in to a community to ‘fix’ the community’s problems for it – they come in to a community to help the community fix its problems itself.” This is a key reason why the benefits of ETC’s work are so long-lasting and effective! Pictured here, staff member Hishila Thami and ETC women’s group members are working hard to clear trails in Babare. The trails are so important for daily life – getting to and from schools, transporting goods to sell, and visiting health posts among other reasons. https://greatnonprofits.org/org/educate-the-children-inc
