The long-term success of our women’s group members’ entrepreneurial activities (most of which are agricultural in nature) will be supported by their memberships in our women’s cooperatives. These are legally recognized entities formed by combining all ETC women’s groups in a specific area, and run by the members themselves. Cooperatives offer ongoing access to microcredit funds and peer knowledge long after ETC has moved on to work in a new area.
