Happy 2019! Our theme for January is “agriculture” because even in winter, there is plenty of agricultural work to be done in rural Nepal. Pictured here is a recent soil camp held in Lamidanda, attended by many women farmers and gardeners. Participants learned about the qualities of their soil with a view to being better able to choose and effectively cultivate the right sorts of crops for their conditions.
