Sankhuwasabha District

In 2004 Educate the Children began collaborating with the Nepal Bhotia Education Center to run a Residential Schooling Project. The goal of the project was to bring young Bhotia women from remote Village Development Committees on the border with Tibet to Khadbari, the district capital, so that they could finish high school, receive teacher training and then be placed as teachers in the schools in their home villages.
